2016 Slingshot Refraction

Sam Light, a name synonymous with wakestyle progression, has made his new custom pro model available for us "mere mortals" to enjoy. If you've seen him ride (or his videos, for that matter), you know that Sam requires equipment that allows him to push the envelope further. The all-new Refraction is modeled after the popular Whip wakeboard, and available in a 143cm length (44.1 at center, 29.2 at the tips) and features 2.4" of rocker. The construction features a moderately stiff flex pattern, with 21oz. of glass and a .5 mil base for added durability.This wakestyle profile will suit the needs of advanced, powered-up riders looking for a board to hold up on rails/sliders, land softly, and have massive pop.

All materials are proudly sourced from the Pacific Northwest Construction, including their signature all-wood Atomic Core that provides exceptional flex, performance, and an extended lifespan. The Fastrack mounting system, unique to Slingshot, is featured in this board. This incredibly durable mounting system allows the rider to fully customize their stance options, and is fully integrated into the core.
