The North Kiteboarding Rebel is the ultimate freeride, jumping, and hang time machine. This year, North has made quite a few changes on the Rebel to ensure the kite delivers maximum performance across the entire range of sizes. 

The larger Rebel sizes now feature a higher aspect ratio and new profile to deliver maximum power, jumping, and hang time. The smaller Rebel sizes have a slightly lower aspect ratio to deliver better steering and livelier handling. 

North has replaced their 18 meter airstyle Rebel with a 16 meter. The 16 meter is modeled after the 14 meter, with an emphasis on low-end power and massive jumping. 

In 2016, the Rebel continues to set the bar in the high performance, freeride category. Now, every size has been optimized across the range to deliver maximum performance in all wind conditions. 

As with all of North's 2016 kite models, they've added heavy-duty reinforcements around the leading edge, struts, and trailing edge for increased durability and longevity. 

The 2016 Rebel the adaptive tip bridle. The blue knot is the hard setting, and when placed the Rebel offers the hardest bar load and dynamic steering. When placed below the soft setting on the yellow tip, the Rebel offers the lightest bar feel and the quickest turning.
