Kiteboarding Video: Liquid Force - WOW Teaser Video
Liquid Force - The WOW Teaser Video
Have you checked out Liquid Force's WOW Kiteboarding Kite? Liquid Force will be sending a limited number of WOW kites after April 3, 2015. Liquid Force is expecting their full shipment in June. Until then, Liquid Force has decided to tease us with their latest video on the WOW. The WOW kite focuses on taking riders looking to surf to the next level, while still offering the chance to freeride. The Reduced Diameter Leading Edge on the WOW allows a faster response time with tons of control. This intermediate/advanced kite will feel and perform differently from other kites. The WOW is truly a unique kite that can be considered one of their leading race cars in their lineup. Check out this teaser video! It will make you want to grab the WOW right when it becomes available.

How do you like the new WOW kite?
"I have only had 2 sessions on it so far, once with the 12m on the coast and another on the 9m in La Ventana. On a wave day, good kite fliers can place the WOw anywhere in the window with or without power, which allows you to have more turns on the waves. The WOW is a bit more of an advanced kite because of this."
Can a beginner learn on the WOW? How easily does it relaunch? Is it a more stable kite than, say, the Envy or Solo?
"I think that the WOW will have a smaller market than some other kites we carry. I think it'll have great appeal towards more experienced kiters looking for the 'next big thing' in performance. I probably wouldn't put a beginner on it. The WOW has the ability to backstall a bit, which is part of the design. It allows the kite to pivot within the window without needing power, and then it re-engages the power when you find your desired direction. If I were to compare it to the Envy or Solo in regards to learning, the WOW definitely doesn't displace the Envy or the Solo when it comes to ease of flying or leaning."
What do some of your European riders think of the WOW?
"We received this feedback from one of our riders from an Egypt trip not too long ago:
WOW - There is only one word, "WOW". People love the kite for flat water, freestyle, and freeride. The kite shows that it works with waves really well."
