Details

The innovative 3-strut design and unique wing tips deliver maximum lift, power and efficiency, allowing you to get up on the foil effortlessly without intense pumping. Designer Ken Winner has brought the side struts more inwards on the new Ventis, creating a rigid frame and reducing swing weight and reduced the size of the wing tips. This makes even the larger 7m and 8m Ventis sizes manageable for all riders, regardless of size or experience.

The Ventis incorporates a lightweight 50g ripstop canopy for efficient performance in marginal conditions. Focused on lift and stability, the side struts maintain consistent profile depth and canopy tension for smooth, stable power delivery. Its refined profile shape and tip twist not only improves the low end, it also enhances upwind performance and ensures a smoother ride through gusts. The ergonomic center strut design with extended Carbon front handle allows one-handed riding and provides a comfortable position for your hands, reducing fatigue for longer, more enjoyable sessions. The Ventis turns light wind conditions into a playground for progression.

A little finicky but solid low wind performer

    Posted by D on 19th Jul 2024

Pros - tapered tips dive into the water less easily (although it's still a 7m wing so hard to avoid) -relatively light for it's size, and fun and powerful when you get going. - segmented struts so you can maintain pressure when you pump it up. -nice little extras like windows, a really nice backpack and duotone training app. Cons: - the kind of massive wingspan that feels a little awkward to catch wind sometimes. It causes you to maneuver back and forth or pump a little more to get moving. - the inflation valve is hard to lock closed when pumping and removing the pump, even with a duotone pump - one of the seams of mine split after about 2 weeks of use. It was set out to dry for a couple hours and flipped over, bummed it wasn't more durable. The grab bars are segmented to leave a gap where you would want your hand as you're just getting moving. (Maybe because I'm 5'4" with a 6' wingspan.
