Description:
The new SEVEN SEAS keeps the same program as its predecessor, but features a more modern design. With a slimmer outline, higher AR and revised surfaces, this new foil retains the legendary accessibility of our SEVEN SEAS range while boosting its performance.
The SEVEN SEAS remains a downwind-oriented foil. When wing foiling, it enables a progressive and easy take-off, then provides a good glide upwind and in the bumps. Its glide makes maneuvers like jibing and tacking easier. Don’t be afraid to switch from a PHANTOM to a SEVEN SEAS as soon as you start learning to jibe.
In SUP foil, the SEVEN SEAS is devilishly easy to launch, then offers an unexpected glide and average speed compared to its accessibility and surface area. It’s a foil of choice for advanced riders in light conditions.
At F-ONE, our goal is to make fun foils. So, we want every foil to be able to carve, even the ones geared towards a downwind program. We’ve therefore specifically worked on the wingtips of this new SEVEN SEAS to increase its maneuverability and make it even more fun to ride.
Built using the Monobloc structure with pre-preg carbon, the foils are both very light and strong. This setup brings improved load transmission and better stiffness throughout the different parts for maximum control. The TITAN connection allows to plug in either an aluminum or carbon mast.
The SEVEN SEAS is the perfect foil to discover the sensations of a high-performance downwind foil. Its ability to glide forward as well as its unparalleled maneuverability and low end potential make it fun and easy to ride. It’s a foil you’ll always keep in your quiver.
Technology:
MONOBLOC FRONT WING
Having a stiff and solid assembly between all the parts of the foil is key to making it perform at its best as well as easy to handle.
The connection of the front wing with the fuselage is highly stressed and loaded, so it is one of the critical areas of the assembly in terms of structures.
The Monobloc front wings are molded together with the fuselage in one shot, thereby removing the connection and the chances for unwanted and parasitic movements.
The structural fibers of the fuselage are spread into the wing to achieve the smoothest and lightest connection.
It is also incredibly stiff and provides absolute control at all times, with the foil responding perfectly to all of the riders’ input.
When the overall dimensions are too large for convenient transportation, a connection is set into the fuselage, behind the mast where the loads are smaller.
TITAN CONNECTION
The TITAN connection enables a very stiff and direct connection between two parts, locking efficiently any movement in all directions. Its format is compact which is hydrodynamically efficient and very easy to use, assemble and disassemble.
PRE PREG TECHNOLOGY
Pre-preg makes the foils stiffer and stronger. With pre-preg fabrics, the carbon fiber is directly impregnated with epoxy resin by its manufacturer. This guarantees a perfect ratio between epoxy and carbon and represents the highest quality process. It is then cured at high temperature, bringing strength and durability.
Quality control is much better and so is the working environment for the people building our foils. Pre-preg fabrics offer the lightest weight with the best mechanical properties of carbon fiber.

f-one Seven Seas 1100
I was happily surprised by the Seven Seas. I have several other f-one foils, all smaller than the 1100, so I expected it to feel slow and hard to maneuver. I found it to be very user friendly. A great foil and light breeze and a great foil to use if you want an easy day on the water. It is not as sporty as my SK8 750 or Eagle 790, but it is comfortable at speed. I tried it with the XS 141 and the XXS 200 stabs and both worked great. I never felt like it was foiling out. It turns a little slower than the SK8 950, but not much. It pumps much, much easier than the other foils mentioned here. It wouldn't be my go-to on a windy day when I felt like ripping, but it's totally perfect for a relaxing cruise on a light or moderate wind day and perfect if you have a friend getting into foiling and want to make life easy for them.

2024 f-one Seven Seas V2
I picked up the new Seven Seas 1100 in December. I was looking for a light wind foil and a beginner friendly foil for when I'm help friends get started. I think its ideal for both light wind and those just starting to foil. What surprised me was that it is also fast and maneuverable. I have a SK8 in the 950 and 750, and this foil is not much slower in a straight line and not much slower to turn than the 950 SK8, which has been my go-to foil for about a year. And it has a noticably slower stall speed and is noticably easier to pump. For reference, I am 160 lbs and have used it in flat water and in ocean swells. It is very user friendly foil. Highly recommended.
